As the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, Director of Residence Life, Virginia provides leadership and oversight to the Division of Student Affairs with primary responsibility for the administration of the Office of Residence Life, the Office of Student Conduct, and the Office of Student Recreation. Virginia provides critical input to the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs, acting in a leadership role for policy development, strategic planning, assessment, administration and fiscal responsibility. Virginia brings to the table years of experience in residence life, organizational leadership and management.

 

Bradley Menard

Brad Menard currently serves as the Associate Director for Housing in the Office of Residence Life. He oversees areas such as assignments, marketing, department communication, contracts, billing, and assessment. Brad supervises the Assistant Director of Residential Marketing and Communication, the Housing Manager, and the Front Office Secretary. Prior to coming to The University of Toledo, Brad worked in housing and residence life departments at the University of West Florida, George Mason University and Grinnell College. As a first generation college student, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Oneonta in History and a Master’s Degree from Iowa State University in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Brad’s passion for working in student affairs comes from the amazing mentors he has had as a student and professional, guiding him and pushing him to grow, his goal is to do the same for his students and staff.

Mark Brooks

Mark Brooks currently serves at the Assistant Director of Building Services for Residence Life. His overall responsibilities are for the operations of the building services within the residential communities, ensuring the effectiveness of Quality Control and Inspection program to include quality processes, practices and systems are in compliance with University policies and procedures. Mark received his bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University. Before coming to the University of Toledo he worked as the General Manager of the Breakers Express hotel at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.

Adam Bohland

Adam Bohland currently serves as the Housing Manager at the University of Toledo. Adam provides support to the Residence Life team in Housing matters related to student bookings, guest housing, student accounts, and many other operational needs. He earned his bachelor's degree from Tiffin University in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality and Tourism. He received his Master in Higher Education from University of Toledo in May 2014. Before joining the team at UT, Adam worked in food service management at Bowling Green State University.

Brad Ledingham

BraLedingham currently serves as the Area Coordinator for the Office of Residence Life overseeing the Traditional Residence Halls and McComas Village.  Brad comes to UT with previous professional experience in Residence Life at Michigan State University and Buffalo State College (SUNY).  Previous to that, Brad worked full time in the Department of Public Safety at Eastern Michigan University.  Brad has many experiences working with students in higher education: Advisor to Residence Hall Association, Advisor to LGBTQA organizations, Student Conduct, and many other areas that support the educational mission of Higher Education.  Brad has received four degree’s in his college career: Associates of General Education and Associates of Arts and Science from Macomb Community College; Bachelors of Social Work and Masters of Art in Educational Leadership and Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.  He is looking forward to continuing his education in the future.  Brad is an alumni member of the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, Inc.
Matt Perry

Matthew Perry currently serves as the Area Coordinator for Suite-style Halls. In his role, Matt provides guidance and leadership to suite-style residence halls (International House, Ottawa House and Presidents Hall). Matt deeply believes that each Rocket in and outside the residence halls should feel accepted, engaged and involved with campus life. Outside of his main duties, Matt enjoys advising student leaders, serving as a UT Culture Ambassador and volunteering in the local Toledo community. Matt received his M.S.E. in Higher Education from The University of Dayton and B.A. in Spanish from Wilmington College.

Sherry Cox has been at The University of Toledo for thirteen years, and has had the opportunity to work with many dedicated faculty & students.  In her current customer service role, Sherry enjoys working with a diverse student population and is always ready to assist visitors arriving in ORL.

Amanda Freyaldenhoven serves as the Carter Hall and Health Professions Living Learning Community Director. Amanda advises UT's Dance Marathon, RockeTHON. She has been with the University of Toledo since 2011. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, from Wright State University, and her Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling, from Bowling Green State University. She is currently taking doctoral classes in Counselor Education and Supervision.

Brian Butler

Brian Butler currently serves as the Graduate Assistant Hall Director for Carter Hall. He recently earned his bachelor’s degree in sales management, international business, and leadership advancement at The University of Akron. Throughout his undergraduate career, Brian served as a Resident Assistant, Desk Manager, and Hall Director for Residence Life and as the Director of Professional Development for Pi Sigma Epsilon – Gamma Kappa Chapter. Brian is now working towards his Master in Business Administration with hopes of applying the degree towards a career in higher education.

Shannon McCune has been employed by The University of Toledo and with the Office of Residence Life since March of 2008.  Before coming to the University of Toledo, she was a customer service representative and rating clerk in the moving and storage industry.  Shannon enjoys working in the Residence Halls, providing support and a welcoming smile to the students in their home away from home.

Kirstin Keller

Kirstin Keller currently serves as the Graduate Assistant Hall Director for International House. Kirstin graduated from the University of Toledo in 2013 with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She is currently pursuing a Master in Public Health through the Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health, a joint program between the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. During her undergraduate years, Kirstin served as a Resident Adviser at UT for two years and also performed as the school’s female mascot: Rocksy the Rockette.

Ana Fackelman has been employed by the Office of Residence Life at the University of Toledo since 2001. She has been the clerical specialist at most of the residence halls and currently works at the Horton International House, where see enjoys sharing cultural traditions with the residents. Prior to 2001 Ana lived and worked for many years at various locations in the United States, Mexico and South America.

Melissa Mick

Melissa Mick serves as the Hall Director for MacKinnon, Scott, Tucker and Parks Tower Halls.  She earned a bachelor's degree in Linguistics from The Ohio State University in 2009 and was a member of the Mount Leadership Society, a Scholars Living Learning Community with a focus on community service.  Following her graduation she taught Spanish and ESL in South Florida for three years before returning to Ohio for graduate school.  She earned a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University in 2014 while working as an Assistant Hall Director at Cleveland State University.  Melissa is proud to call Ohio home and is excited to work closely with the Honors LLC at UT!

Brandon M. Hines is currently the Graduate Assistant Hall Director for Mackinnon, Scott and Tucker Halls for the University of Toledo. Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree at Bowling Green State University in Education with a focus on Life and Earth Sciences. After graduation, Brandon worked as a Middle School Science teacher and an intervention tutor. He is currently working on completing his Master in Higher Education. Brandon enjoys working with college students and wants to promote a positive and encouraging atmosphere for his residents.

Brittany Graham currently serves as the Hall Director for McComas Village and Greek Life Program Manager at The University of Toledo. Brittany earned her bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University in French, Tourism and Event Planning, and Marketing and a Master in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University. Before coming to UT, Brittany worked for various departments, Study Abroad, Greek Life, Adult Learning, and Residence Life.

Katelyn Zimmerman serves as the Graduate Assistant Hall Director for McComas Village. Katelyn earned her bachelor's degree in International Relations & Diplomacy from The Ohio State University. She is currently in the License and Master's Program (LAMP) for Spanish education at The University of Toledo. Katelyn is an alumna of Kappa Delta Sorority and she is excited to serve the greek community here at UT.

Brian Rolinc currently serves as the Hall Director for Ottawa House. Brian graduated from Ohio University, where he was a resident assistant, with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor in history.  He received his Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University. Prior to becoming a Hall Director at The University of Toledo, Brian worked as a Hall Director at Baldwin Wallace University.

Tera McDonald is a proud University of Toledo alum earning her bachelor's degree from UT in Individualized Studies in 2013. Tera is a currently working on completing her Master in Higher Education. During her undergraduate years, Tera served as the Vice President for the Black Student Union, a member of the Student Advisory Board, a member of the Student Conduct Hearing Board and acted as a Student Orientation Leader.

Brittany earned her bachelor's degree from The University of Toledo in Bioengineering in 2013. She is currently working towards her Master in Counselor Education. Brittany enjoys working with residents and encouraging everyone to get involved with student organizations and UT traditions!

Desmond Harvey currently serves as the Graduate Assistant Hall Director for Parks Tower. Desmond graduated from the University of Toledo in 2014 with his Bachelor of Arts in Recreational Therapy. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Recreation and Administration. During his undergraduate years, Desmond worked as a Resident Adviser at UT for two years and also served as a practice player for the UT Women's basketball team.
