Walk-in advising is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is a great option for students who have a quick question, need clarification on an academic requirement, want assistance registering for a single term, or are experiencing a registration issue.

Because walk-in sessions are designed to provide timely support to as many students as possible, they are generally best suited for shorter discussions. More comprehensive topics, such as reviewing a full academic plan, creating schedules for multiple semesters, changing majors, or discussing long-term academic goals, are best addressed through a scheduled appointment with your academic advisor.

If a walk-in conversation develops into a more in-depth discussion, we will assist you as much as possible during your session. Depending on your needs and the time available, your advisor may recommend a follow-up appointment or connect you with additional resources to ensure you receive the full level of support needed.
