Mission

The mission of the University of Toledo Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)  is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by  promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare and fostering a positive student-athlete image, while representing the Athletic Department. SAAC will act as a liaison between student-athletes and the student body, coaching staff, and academic advisors regarding the needs and concerns that impact academic performance and personal well-being of student-athletes.

Please view the SAAC constitution for further details.

A minimum of two representatives from each athletic team is recommended to be present at each monthly SAAC meeting throughout the academic year. Team representatives can be selected by their coaches or peers based on their leadership qualities, interest, and available time commitments.
