Program Introduction
The Intensive English Summer/Winter Camp is a short-term cultural experience program hosted by the Center for International Studies and Programs at The University of Toledo. It is developed for international students who seek exposure to American social and academic cultures. Participation in this program will help students improve their communicative English skills, make friends with peers from the United States, and enhance their knowledge of American social and college culture.
Program Highlights
- Customized program length, content, and concentration based on group needs;
- Systematic communicative English language training;
- Certified service team with professionals in international affairs, teaching English as a second language and youth program development;
- Accessibility to university campus resources (gym, dormitory, library, etc.);
- Variety of experiential learning opportunities through visiting local attractions;
- Intensive exposure to American academic culture through both formal teaching and informal communication with American peer students.
