Enhance Your Career

The M.L.W. program is designed primarily for professionals aiming to enhance their existing careers, including those who work with lawyers (corporate managers, accountants, realtors, court employees, law enforcement personnel), those whose work is governed by law and regulations (health care professionals, human resource professionals, government employees, educators), and those in other professions where knowledge of the law is valuable (journalists, engineers, entrepreneurs). The program can also help re-direct and launch career paths, too.

Full- and Part-Time Programs

Our M.L.W. offers individualized full- and part-time programs. Full-time students can complete the program in one year (two semesters). Part-time students have the flexibility to work at their own pace. Day and evening courses are available, making it convenient to attain an M.L.W. degree while working.

Course Work

Toledo Law boasts a rich and diverse curriculum. You'll attend classes with J.D. students but are graded on a different scale. Possible areas of concentration include business, criminal justice, health care, human resources, and trusts and estates — other concentrations are also available. After completing required courses, you can select course work based on particular interests or scheduling needs. To learn more, review our detailed requirements page.
