The Writing Center assists students and instructors alike in developing the writers, thinkers, and voices that comprise The University of Toledo.  Staff encourages and welcomes opportunities for various presentations and/or targeted workshops that contribute to building a culture of written communication and expression within our campus community. The duration for presentations and/or targeted workshops is dependent on the type of presentation, content, and associated goals. Some potential presentations and/or workshops include, but are not limited to, the following:               

    • Writing Center services
    • Synthesizing Research
    • The Literature Review
    • Technical Writing
    • Avoiding Plagiarism
    • Building a Thesis Statement
    • Academic Writing in College
    • APA Documentation
    • Writing an Abstract
    • The Research Proposal
