Admissions Appeal Process

If a student does not meet one or more of the requirements set forth by the program of their choice, they may contact the Office of International Admission to further discuss their readiness to pursue the university coursework in the selected field.

In rare instances, The University of Toledo may review a student's English language proficiency using video (Skype) interviews.

The appeal will be reviewed by an admissions committee. A student must contact the university about an appeal before the following deadlines:

  • December 15 for students intending to start their studies at The University of Toledo in the Spring semester (January);
  • April 15 for students intending to start their studies at The University of Toledo in the Summer semester (May);
  • August 1 for students intending to start their studies at The University of Toledo in the Fall semester (August).
