- Core Curriculum Committee Report – Sam Nelson
- (see report in folder for this week)
- Stella Vay sent a signed letter as per the constitutional requirement
- Structurally how would related fields be removed from the programs
- Will this result in a large amount of program modifications?
- Need to consult for this
- There are questions moving forward about classes from the other programs being merged into the College requirements
- Proposed that related fields be kept so that they show up on degree audits as such
to help transfers
- Different programs use related fields differently
- Question asked about how this would impact the merging programs, and it should not due to types of degrees in those programs
- Because of the way double dipping works it turns into students just meeting requirements and not taking courses that might actually benefit them
- Question about data on adult student transfers
-
This number is small compared to our other categories of students when you take out students coded as adult (students who took a gap year)
-
- Tech Fees Barbara Miner - Tabled till next meeting
- Meeting Modalities Charles Beatty-Medina- Tabled till next meeting
