University of Minnesota President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP) -- Closing data: November 1, 2019
The PPFP is designed to provide new scholars of all academic disciplines an opportunity
to become more competitive candidates for tenure-track faculty appointments. The Department
of Psychology at the University of Minnesota has made diversity and inclusion one
of its strategic goals and is committed to enhancing diversity and inclusion in its
scholarship, education, and personnel. The Department of Psychology has been authorized
to search in Fall 2020 for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the area of health
and health disparities. We are particularly interested in health and health disparities
in African American and Latinx communities.
Applicants from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply for the PPFP to work with one or more of our Psychology faculty at the University of Minnesota. It is a great opportunity for young scholars to work closely with internationally recognized scholars in seven subfields of psychology: Clinical science and psychopathology research, Cognitive and brain science, Counseling psychology, Industrial/organizational psychology, Personality/individual differences/behavioral genetics, Quantitative/psychometric methods, and Social psychology. Scholars also have an opportunity to work with affiliated faculty across the colleges and university. Applicants are encouraged to visit the University of Minnesota Department website to learn more about faculty areas of expertise and to reach out directly to faculty.
