Kelly McBane, Theatre Technical Specialist/Costume Shop Manager

Kelly McBane came to the University of Toledo in 2014. Prior to working with the University, she had been working from Las Vegas, for several production companies, working for high profile clients, as well as producing acts for both local and international night clubs. Past credits include working with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival (The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, A Winter’s Tale, Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, The Rivals, Macbeth), CATCO in Columbus Ohio (The Seafarer, Evie’s Waltz, The Mystery of Irma Vep, Murderers, Pierce to the Soul), and Unseam’d Shakespeare in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Othello Noir, The Constant Prince, Out of this Furnace, Macbeth 3).

She also has had the opportunity to travel with several shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Slippery Rock University, where she received her BA in Theater Design and Technology. She graduated in 2013 with an MFA in Costume Technology from Ohio University
