THE ROCKET MARCHING BAND

The University of Toledo Rocket Marching Band is one of the largest and most visible student groups on campus! With up to 250 musicians, dancers, twirlers, and color guard, the RMB is a positive source of pride and school spirit for you as well as the entire UToledo community. It's a GREAT time to get involved! Remember that The RMB:

Provides all members with at least a $1,000 scholarship & priority course registration.
Is open to ALL UToledo students, regardless of major. Engineering, Pharmacy, and Nursing students represent a large number of the RMB's ranks.
Is a class, which provides a 1-hr. elective credit that will count toward ANY degree.
Performs in the BEST venue in the MAC. The Glass Bowl seats 26,000 and hosts some of the most exciting college football in the country!

2026 Membership Information

Every new and returning member should complete our online "Intent to March" form.

Woodwinds & Brass - Complete our online "Intent to March" form at your next opportunity. Then tell your advisor you want to register for Rocket Marching Band (MUS 3010 001). There are no auditions, but will be a hearing to determine part assignments. Questions regarding the process for woodwinds & brass should be directed to Dr. Andrew Rhodes, UToledo Director of Athletic Bands: andrew.rhodes@utoledo.edu.
Drumline - Complete our online "Intent to March" form at your next opportunity. Then tell your advisor you want to register for Rocket Marching Band (MUS 3010 001). Auditions for the 2026 season will take place on-campus over three Saturdays: May 9, June 20, & July 18, 10am-6pm. Attending at least 2 of the 3 is strongly recommended. Click here for music requirements and submission procedures. Remote accommodations can be made. Check out the Drumline page!
