Accreditation
AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation is the most widely recognized global standard of excellence in business education. It is awarded to business schools that meet rigorous expectations for teaching quality, faculty expertise, curriculum relevance and student learning outcomes.
The University of Toledo’s Neff College of Business and Innovation is one of 6% of business schools worldwide hold AACSB accreditation, with AACSB accreditation since 1982, with its accounting program earning additional specialized AACSB accreditation in 2015.
For students, AACSB accreditation adds confidence that your education is built to prepare you for what comes next—whether that’s launching a career, starting a business or pursuing graduate studies.
AACSB-accredited schools are evaluated across key areas that reflect overall educational quality, including:
- The quality and expertise of faculty
- How effectively students are achieving learning outcomes
- The relevance and rigor of the business curriculum
- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in teaching
AACSB-accredited schools must demonstrate that they are consistently improving and adapting to changes in business and education.
In 2025, our AACSB accreditation was reaffirmed, reflecting continued excellence and quality in business education.
