John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation

The Alan Barry Accounting Lab at The University of Toledo’s Neff College of Business and Innovation is an experiential learning and academic support space designed to help accounting students strengthen technical skills and prepare for professional success. 

Located within the Savage and Associates Complex, the lab provides students with access to one-on-one tutoring, advanced accounting software and exam preparation resources for the CPA, CMA, EA or CIA.  

In addition to academic support, the lab enhances experiential learning by enabling students to provide tax preparation services that directly support the local community. 

The Alan Barry Accounting Lab serves as a key academic resource within the accounting program, reinforcing classroom learning and supporting student success from foundational coursework through advanced study and career preparation.

• Monday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
• Tuesday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
• Wednesday: 9:00am - 12:00pm
• Thursday: 9:00am - 2:00pm

Meet your Accounting Tutor

Jin Zhang

 

Jin Zhang is currently an MSA student at UToledo. She graduated in the spring of 2025 from UToledo with an accounting degree and a minor in Information Systems. She is currently in the process of studying for and taking her CPA exams.

 

She grew up in New York before spending several years studying in China and then returned to the U.S. for college. Outside of academics, She enjoys exploring new restaurants, playing badminton, and traveling.
