The University of Toledo’s John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation will host the Fall 2021 Job Fair both on-campus and virtually from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30.

During the event's five-hour duration, business major and minor students will have the ability to participate in the in-person job fair at the John F. Savage Arena and online via the Handshake Virtual Fair Platform if they so choose.

Nearly 100 employers are expected to arrive on campus to attend, with an anticipated 400+ business students signing up to meet with them. Companies looking to hire Business Rockets during this event include 3M, Amazon, Dana, Owens-Illinois, ProMedica, Marathon and Savage and Associates.

To ensure that all employers around the country that wish to hire Neff College of Business and Innovation students for open internships and full-time roles can participate, the College will also offer a virtual component. The digital aspect will provide students with the opportunity to connect with multiple recruiting organizations and help expand their job search from the comfort of their computers.

The Fall 2021 Job Fair is sponsored by the College’s Business Career Programs Office. It remains dedicated to helping business students acquire internships during their academic careers and full-time jobs when they graduate. This includes continuing to provide students with services such as resume critiques, interview coaching and assistance with job search strategies.

"We are thrilled to welcome students and employers back to campus for this fall's job fair. After hosting multiple virtual-only fairs, we are ready to provide our Business Rockets with the opportunity to meet with employers face-to-face with physical resumes in hand," said Craig Turner, career advisor & employer relations for undergraduate programs. "As an office, Business Career Programs strives to 'set the metaphorical table' for our students. It is up to them to take advantage of all that is offered within the Neff College of Business and Innovation and come 'eat.'"

The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation’s six-year average job placement rate is 91.67%. This includes 2020, a year heavily impacted by COVID. While the professional and academic worlds continue to be affected by the pandemic, Neff College of Business and Innovation students are still finding employment and making an impact in organizations around the world.

“We are proud that we have been able to continue our concierge services and look forward to this next chapter in the professional development of our students,” said Dr. Terribeth Gordon-Moore, senior associate dean for undergraduate programs and administration. “We appreciate all of the employers that have been so supportive of our virtual efforts during the pandemic. We look forward to continuing our partnerships with these companies while forging new relationships with organizations that desire to work with our students."
