How Do I Get A Handshake Account?
It's already created! Once you register for classes, your Handshake account gets automatically created. DO NOT create your own Handshake account before you register for classes or it will cause delays in getting you connected to jobs and internships.
How do I find an on-campus job?
Log in to Handshake, or check the job board outside the Career Services at SU 1533. All positions are posted on Handshake. Make sure to filter out on-campus jobs so you can see what's available!

How Can I meet with Career Services?
It's easy! There are two ways you can meet with Career Services.

- Walk-In and work with one of our awesome career ambassadors. (No appointment needed)
- Schedule an appointment! Scheduling on Handshake is quick and allows you to pick a time that works best for you!

- Once you are registered for classes you are able to meet with our staff! For the summer, appointments are recommended but not required.

What if I don't have a resume?
No resume? No problem!
That's what our professional staff and student ambassadors are here for. If you do not have a resume started, use our Resume and CV Guide to view examples and construct your ideas. After you have a draft, you can stop into the Career Studio (Student Union 1533) or schedule an appointment on Handshake.
I heard I can get a Free suit? How does that work?
Let me introduce you to Rocket Style!
The Rocket Style Career Closet is a professional clothing closet designed to be an inclusive and identity-affirming space for all rocket students to get FREE professional clothing. Students are able to "shop" professional clothing once a semester to prepare for
interviews, conferences, and other networking events.
