Xuguang is a visiting scholar from Yanshan University. He graduated with a master's degree in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from a top normal university in China. He has been engaged in English teaching and research work for about ten years.
From the fall of 2024, he is working as a lead teacher in UToledo YSU College for two years. His main responsibilities include matters related to the project cooperation between UToledo and Yanshan University, management of language classes as well as educational research.
Xuguang has fluent English expression skills, rich experience in English teaching and management. He also has strong communication ability and organizational skills for activities. His positive attitude and passionate personality will always make it easy to be friends with him.

Jiayue Yang

Jiayue is a visiting scholar from Yanshan University. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Chinese International Education at Yanshan University. During her time here, she will teach semester-long Chinese language courses.
Jiayue is an outstanding student and has achieved excellent results in various Chinese teaching competitions. Her passion for language teaching and cultural exchange is evident in her approach, as she always adheres to the "student-centered" teaching philosophy and strives to create an immersive and rich learning environment for students.

Jiaxin Yu

Jiaxin is currently working on her Master of Education in International Education of Chinese Language at Yanshan University. She got her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Southwest Petroleum University in 2023. In 2024, Jiaxin came to UToledo and teaches non-credit Chinese courses and organizes cultural activities.
