Alumnus discusses ties between chemical engineering and medical school
September 2019: Zachary Holtzapple authored an article in the September issue of AIChE's
Chemical and Engineering Progress about how chemical engineering prepared him for
medical school. The article is available online.
Undergraduate students earn water-related poster award

Three graduate students earn Forbes under 30 scholar award
September 2019: Hope Otor, Fabrice Kapiamba, Marcos Da Conceicao Acosta will attend
the Forbes under 30 summit next month.
Professor Coleman becomes Department Chair
July 2019: Maria Coleman, having been on the Chemical Engineering faculty since 1999,
assumed the role of Department Chair on July 1st.
