Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week
Every year, we celebrate Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week with a lineup of programming to recognize and celebrate our graduate students! Students, staff, and faculty, navigate using the buttons below to learn more about this exciting tradition and how you can get involved.
History
Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week was founded by three graduate students: Tony Rosati, Gina Pearson, and Anne Holt of Georgetown University, American University, and Florida State University respectively. This week aims to appreciate graduate and professional students as well as highlight the contributions that they make to their universities, communities, and around the world.
Since its inception, National Association of Graduate-Professional Students member universities have adopted the celebration by offering a variety of programs to their students and traditionally observe it in the first week of April. The University of Toledo College of Graduate Studies will celebrate its fourth Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week in Spring 2025.

Photo Scavenger Hunt!
Our annual scavenger hunt is back! Here's how it works: Each weekday, we're dropping hints on our Facebook and Instagram. You have to find the office or resource on campus that matches the hint, snap a picture of yourself at that location, and send it to us by emailing GradSuccess@utoledo.edu. The first student to get each hint wins for that day! Each student can win once.
