University of Toledo Law Ranks Second in Ohio for February Bar Exam Passage
Graduates from The University of Toledo College of Law achieved an impressive 60%
passage rate on the February Ohio bar exam, well above the state average of 45% and
ranking second among Ohio’s nine law schools, behind only Ohio State University (63%).
“I’m incredibly proud of our students and the dedication they’ve shown,” said Rebecca
E. Zietlow, dean of the College of Law. “I’m equally grateful to our faculty for their
unwavering commitment to supporting student success.”
The College of Law offers extensive programming to support bar readiness and professional
success. This includes extended bar preparation courses for 3L students, faculty-led
subject review lectures, and a post-graduate faculty mentoring program that pairs
every graduate with a faculty mentor during the bar study period. Toledo Law also
offers the Raising the Bar program to further help graduates requiring additional
support during bar prep.
The success of the Academic Success and Bar Passage program underscores Toledo Law’s
ongoing commitment to student success, professional readiness and public service—hallmarks
of The Toledo Way.
