For this year's 45th Annual Pharmacology Colloquium that took place on June 1st at Michigan State University - we had 16 students registered from The University of Toledo.  Congratulations and thank you to all that participated - and a big congratulations to Saroj Chakraborty (Joe Lab) for winning 2nd place on his poster presentation.

 Congratulations to co-First Author Darren Gordon (Hinds Lab) on his mannuscript, "Loss of biliverdin reductase-A (BVRA) promotes lipid accumulation and lipotoxicity in mouse proximal tubule cells", that was accepted in American Journal of Physiology (AJP)-Renal Physiology.

MOME Track students Amit Chougule and Sudipta Baroi (Lecka-Czernik Lab) recently presented at the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) Annual Meeting in Montreal, Canada.  Amit's poster, "PPARɑ Is a Negative Regulator of Sclerostin Production in Osteocytes", was selected for plenary session and presented on September 28th.
