Degrees Offered
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers baccalaureate degree programs in the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in mathematics with several concentrations to choose from.
- B.S. in Mathematics (concentrations in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, data science and computer science)
- Minor in Mathematics
- Honors in Mathematics
Advanced Placement
Students with a score of 3 or better on either AB or BC calculus will receive credit for MATH 1830 (or 1850). Students with a score of 4 or 5 on the BC calculus test will receive credit for both MATH 1830 (or 1850) and 1840 (or 1860). Students with a score below 3 may be able to obtain credit by taking a departmental test. Students with a score of 3 or better on the Statistics Test will receive credit for MATH 2630.
