Degrees Offered

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers baccalaureate degree programs for the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in mathematics with several concentrations to choose from.


Advanced Placement

Students with a score of 3 or better on either AB or BC calculus will receive credit for MATH 1830 (or 1850). Students with a score of 4 or 5 on the BC calculus test will receive credit for both MATH 1830 (or 1850) and 1840 (or 1860). Students with a score below 3 may be able to obtain credit by taking a departmental test. Students with a score of 3 or better on the Statistics Test will receive credit for MATH 2630.


Scholarships
