ANNOUNCEMENTS

 Student Refund Process - Students have two options for receiving refund electronically:

• • Direct Deposit (ACH) to US bank account
  • Paper check mailed to the US address UToledo has on file
    
    Parent Plus loan borrowers have the option to setup a direct deposit (checking/savings) refund account as a parent plus loan borrower (this account is not the same as being an authorize user on a student account).
    
    Create a refund profile today in myUT portal!  For more information, visit the Treasurer's Student Refund website.
  • Student tab, My Toolkit, My Accounts, E-Refund and Profile Setup

• Rocket Payment Plan application fee and first payment are due at the time you enroll in the payment plan.  
• If you are not planning to attend this spring, drop your course(s) before the initial payment due date.
• Review/Update your personal information in myUT portal (Student tab, Under My Toolkit):
  • Remember to update your local and permanent address, and cell phone number, My Other Resources
  • If you elect to provide your authorization for the Title IV Consent, My Accounts
  • Provide FERPA Consent, My Accounts

Students can quickly access and pay tuition bills through the myUT portal. View payment options webpage for information on paying your tuition.

Late Payment Fee Assessment

• Late payment fee assessment will occur after the initial due date as follows:
  • January 10
  • February 6
  • March 6
  • April 5
• Any outstanding balance may be subject to a monthly late payment fee.  This includes health insurance, legal services, and green fund fees that have not been waived. 
• Payments must be made by 5:00 p.m. to avoid a late payment fee.
• Please note that no late fee will be assessed on student accounts, for students who have applied for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) Title IV funds that fully cover institutional charges, and the University has received a valid response file, by the payment due date.

Drop for Non-Payment

• Tuesday, January 9 - spring 2024 and future term course(s) may be dropped for past due balance owed to UToledo
• Monday, April 8 - summer 2024 and future term course(s) may be dropped for spring 2024 and prior term past due balance owed to UToledo

Add/Drop Course Refund Percentage 

15-WEEK SEMESTER CLASS - JANUARY 16 - MAY 3, 2024

• January 22 - 100% tuition refund ends
• January 29 - 80% tuition refund ends
• February 5 - 60% tuition refund ends
• February 12 - 40% tuition refund ends

To add, drop or withdraw from a course after the last day to add or drop via the posted web dates, visit Rocket Solution Central (RSC) in Rocket Hall, Room 1200 to complete the registration adjustment with a course request form.  Signatures are required to add a course once the class begins.

Additional deadlines exist that are applicable to specific programs.

OPEN SESSION (FLEX)

Drop and withdrawal dates are prorated for flexibly scheduled courses that do not meet during the standard start/stop dates of the term.
