The University of Toledo requires all researchers - faculty, staff and student to complete the below trainings:

COI Training ensures that UToledo faculty, staff, and student researchers understand their responsibilities for identifying, disclosing, and managing external financial interests in research, in accordance with institutional and sponsor requirements.
Research Security
Research Security
Research security focuses on safeguarding the research enterprise - including data, intellectual property, and funding - from risks such as misuse, theft, or undue foreign influence, helping protect national and economic interests while maintaining the integrity of research.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)
RCR establishes the standards, rights, and responsibilities for ethical research and scholarship, including proper collection, use, and management of research data and adherence to institutional and regulatory requirements.
Additional Training
Human Subject Research (IRB)
Human Subject Research (IRB)
All study personnel engaged in human subject research (including research using information and specimens from human subjects) are required to complete the applicable training mandated by the Terms of our Federalwide Assurance.
Institutional Animal Care Program (IACUC)
IACUC IRB Manager
Department of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR)
All personnel involved in animal research are required to be listed on an approved IACUC protocol and to complete the applicable CITI training and Department of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR) training necessary for their specific roles prior to working with animals.
