Memberships

The University of Toledo Office of Recreational Services offers great membership benefits to two (2) outstanding facilities! 

Recreational Services is no longer selling Day Passes. We are a member only facility.  Please see our membership options below.

UTOLEDO REC Membership Benefits

  • Student Recreation Center (Main Campus) and Morse Fitness Center (Health Science Campus) access
  • Members have unlimited access to all RocketEX fitness classes at no additional cost
  • Members receive discounts for select Recreational Services: UT Swim School lessons, Safety certification classes and FitWell personal training

UTOLEDO REC Membership Terms

  • Membership is non-transferable.
  • Membership may be modified or revoked for cause
  • Membership fees are not prorated.  Late purchases are billed the full session charge. Short-term pass plans are available.
  • No refund for memberships or short-term pass plans, special circumstances will be reviewed by the Associate Director
  • Students registered for full-time hours are entitled to full access to all UToledo REC facilities. Students registered for less than full-time hours receive 15 visits per semester, they may purchase a "Student Buy Up" and gain full privileges by paying an additional fee per semester based on the number of credit hours enrolled.
  • Please be aware that we follow the academic calendar. The facility has two annual closures, in the Fall semester we are closed for a portion of Winter Break, and Summer semester we are closed for two weeks for annual maintenance of the facility and aquatics (if the pool is drained it is closed for 3 weeks) area. Please see the hours and closures posted on the main page.

UToledo REC Parking permits

  • All UToledo faculty, staff and students are required to purchase a campus parking permit through the MyUT portal under "Request/Update Parking Permit." Your status as a student or employee will determine your designated parking area as assigned by ParkUToledo. 

  • All Community REC members (alumni, guests, visitors, etc.) are required to have a valid a parking permit.

    • Option 1: Purchase a parking permit at vpermit.com/parkutoledo that is valid for Lot 18 at the Student Rec Center on Main Campus and Lot 41 or 42 at the Morse Fitness Center on the Health Science Campus.

    • Option 2:  Pay at the metered lot or purchase a daily parking permit via the ParkMobile app.
      • Lot 8 use Zone #9236
      • Lot 9 use Zone #9264
      • Lot 18 use Zone #9239

Important Parking Regulations

  • All license plates must be facing the drive aisle. Backing in or pulling through a parking spot is prohibited if there is not a front license plate. 
  • Multiple vehicles may be registered under the same permit; however, ParkUToledo citations will be issued if multiple plates registered to the same permit are scanned within a three-hour period. 
  • ParkUToledo will issue citations for improper parking practices.

Forgotten Card Policy

  • A valid Rocket Card, Recreational Services key tag, Fusion Go App with paired photo is required to gain access to all Recreational Services facilities.
  • Current students and members are permitted access to UTREC facilities twice per semester using an alternative photo ID, if their Rocket Card or key tag is forgotten.
  • Students, faculty and staff who have a Rocket Card that is unreadable, has an unclear photo or is lost must have the card replaced at The University of Toledo Rocket Card office. 
  • UToledo Recreational Services members who have lost their key tag or who have a key tag that is unreadable must have their key tag replaced at the UT Recreational Services main office at the Student Recreation Center or Morse Fitness Center for a $5 replacement fee.
  • UToledo Recreational Services staff reserves the right to ask for additional identification at any time and individuals unable to verify their identity to the satisfaction of UToledo Recreational Services staff will be denied entry.
