Summer 2020
- Kelsey Pritchard received the competitive Graduate Student Research Grant for the upcoming Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) conference for his dissertation project, "Interpersonal Emotion Regulation in Mood Disorders: Contextual, Biological, and Social Processes."
Spring 2020

- Kelsey Pritchard successfully matched at the Wright State University School of Professional Psychology for his internship year!
Fall 2019
- We are proud to announce that Jason Liou will be joining the UT Clinical Psychology doctoral program and the ARC Lab in the Fall of 2019! Welcome, Jason!
- Justin Leiter-McBeth was elected as a Clinical Graduate Student Representative for the Department of Psychology!
- Hannah Herc's externship placement for the 2019-2020 year will be at the University of Toledo Medical Center - Adult Outpatient/Child & Adolescent Psychiatry!
- Kelsey Pritchard's externship placement for the 2019-2020 year will be at the University of Toledo Medical Center - Family Medicine (Integrated Behavioral Health) and UTMC Psychiatry (Neuropsychology)!
- Hannah Herc successfully defended her thesis project and she was awarded her Master's degree!
- Our undergraduate researchers were again awarded the OUR-UT Undergraduate Research Travel Scholarship to support their conference travel!
Spring 2019
- Kellyann Navarre tied for third place poster presentation for her co-authored poster, "Perceived Social Support Mediates Mindfulness and Positive Affect," at the second annual UT Department of Psychology Research Showcase!
- Peter Mezo will be taking the place of Dr. Kami London as the UT Department of Psychology Associate Chair.
- Peter Mezo was awarded the University Research Funding Opportunities (URFO) grant through the Research & Sponsored Programs of the University of Toledo, which will fund future ARC Lab studies. Congrats!
- Peter Mezo, Justin Leiter-McBeth, Hannah Herc, and Kelsey Pritchard presented their symposium entitled, "Mindfulness and Related Skills Associated with Proximal and Distal Outcomes," at the 2019 Midwestern Psychological Association conference.
Fall 2018
- Hannah Herc was elected as a Clinical Graduate Student Representative for the Department of Psychology!

- Peter Mezo was made an honorary professor at Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary.
- Hannah Herc was awarded a grant for “Recruitment, Retention and Advancement of Women and URM in STEM” by the University of Toledo. Congrats!
Spring 2018
- We are proud to announce that Justin Leiter will be joining the UT Clinical Psychology doctoral program and the ARC Lab in the Fall of 2018!
- Hannah Marshal had the top poster presentation, "Social Support Mediates the Effects of Mindfulness on Depression," at the Department of Psychology's first Research Showcase.
- Hannah Marshal, undergraduate research assistant, was accepted into the Kent State University Cognitive Psychology Ph.D. program. Congratulations on your achievement, Hannah!
- Undergraduate research assistant Taylor Shook was awarded the Psychology Chair Minority-Underrepresented Research Grant by the Department of Psychology Diversity Committee to conduct summer research. Taylor was also awarded the James and Carol Mack Scholarship by the Department of Psychology. Congrats to Taylor for her contributions!
- Raghad Hassabelnaby, undergraduate research assistant, was accepted into the Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology program at Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. Congrats Raghad!
- Kelsey Pritchard will be completing his externship at Unison Behavioral Health during the 2018-2019 academic year.
Fall 2017
- Kelsey Pritchard was elected as a Clinical Graduate Student Representative for the Department of Psychology.
- Dr. Mezo was made an Honorary Professor at the University of Budapest!
- ARC Lab members Peter Mezo, Kelsey Pritchard, and Hannah Herc raised money and participated in the Out of the Darkness Walk for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
- Undergraduate research assistant Taylor Shook was accepted into the University of Toledo Medical School Program!
Summer 2017
- Hannah Marshal received the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) that is funded by the National Science Foundation with the Undergraduate Trauma Research Training Program at Syracuse University.
