KLAR Leadership Academy
The KLAR Leadership Academy at The University of Toledo’s Neff College of Business and Innovation is a selective, year-long leadership cohort for high-achieving undergraduate students from across the university. Students are chosen through a competitive nomination and application process and join a small cohort of peers representing a wide range of academic disciplines.
Rather than focusing on classroom-based leadership instruction, KLAR places students in real-world leadership environments where they engage directly with campus, community and industry leaders. Through experiential projects, service-based initiatives and interactive cohort experiences, students practice leadership in applied settings that extend beyond traditional coursework.
These experiences strengthen students’ leadership capability, professional readiness, and ability to communicate their impact—enhancing their career readiness and the depth of their professional profile.
