Temitope Akanbi, Ph.D.

about me

I am an Assistant  Professor in the Construction Engineering Technology  at the University of Toledo.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Building Engineering from University of Lagos in 2005, an M.Sc. in Construction Management from University of Lagos in 2012, another M.Sc. in Project Management from Northwestern University at Evanston, IL in 2015, and a Ph.D. in Construction Management technology from Purdue University in May 2021.

I have over 15+ years hands-on technical experience undertaking several positions including project engineer, estimator, scheduler, and project manager.

My research interests are in developing and leveraging advanced technologies to support construction management, and construction engineering automation, including building information modeling (BIM), artificial intelligence (AI) and construction robotics.
