The KEEN Freshmen Innovation Challenge is an annual event designed to provide first-year engineering students with real-world ideation and  entrepreneurial experience. The event is focused on the three C’s of the KEEN program offered by the College of Engineering - CuriosityConnections, and Creating Value.

Contestant Selection:
All freshmen students are invited to participate in the event. Six presentations are chosen to compete in the final round. The winning teams are awarded a cash prize, which can be used to further the development of their project.
