In-State Tuition for Select Graduate Programs
Advance your education and build your career in Ohio.
Per Ohio revised code (https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3333.31) and associated procedures (https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-administrative-code/rule-3333-1-10), alumni of any of Ohio's colleges and universities can attend The University of Toledo
for graduate school and pay in-state tuition. To qualify, students must:
- Be considered a non-resident for tuition and subsidy purposes
- Reside in the state of Ohio and receive a bachelor’s degree from any Ohio college or university, public or private
- Enroll in any graduate degree program except for one of the following: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Juris Doctorate (JD), Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Physician Assistant, Pathology Assistant, and Master of Science in Biomedical Science – Medical Sciences major
- Enroll in the qualifying graduate degree program during the next term the program is accepting students after the bachelor degree is awarded (i.e., Spring graduates would enroll the following Fall) and maintain continuous enrollment thereafter
- Reside in the state of Ohio while the graduate degree is pursued
