M.P.H. Admissions Process

1. The College of Graduate Studies (COGS) reviews all uploaded and emailed application documents and determines eligibility for admission to graduate school. After COGS determines that an applicant is eligible to be admitted to graduate school, the documents are forwarded to the M.P.H. Admissions Committee.
2. The M.P.H. Admissions Committee, comprised of four University of Toledo faculty members, considers the applicant's admission to the M.P.H. program. The Chair of the M.P.H. Admissions Committee and the M.P.H. Program Director must sign the final admissions page.
3. Applicants receive a letter from the College of Graduate Studies announcing acceptance and a follow-up letter from the M.P.H. program director providing admission status (provisional or regular) and additional program information.

Applications will not be sent to the M.P.H. Admissions Committee unless all documents as described in the M.P.H. Admission Requirements have been received. The University of Toledo College of Graduate Studies and the Master in Public Health Program do not offer conditional admission.

International students will be required to provide a bank letter/financial guarantee for formal admission to the university. After an international application is returned from the M.P.H. admissions committee, international applicants will receive an email from the College of Graduate Studies outlining the financial requirements.
