Master of Public Health Program

Financial Assistance and Resources

Available support for MPH students includes graduate assistantships and the Michigan Initiative Award. The University of Toledo Master of Public Health has a limited financial support budget available for MPH students and the application process is competitive.

Students may apply for a Graduate Assistantship which provides a stipend plus waiver of tuition.  These are available on a very limited basis and the application process is competitive.  Graduate Assistants are required to enroll for a minimum of twelve credit hours each semester and work for twenty hours each week.  Assistantships are awarded for a twelve-month period, pending maintenance of a satisfactory grade point average. Students may be requested to reapply for Graduate Assistantship support after the twelve months.
