The University of Toledo Hematology-Oncology Fellowship is a three-year program dedicated to educating future professionals for tomorrow's most pressing challenges and fascinating innovations.

The University of Toledo Division of Hematology & Oncology is one of more than 10 medical specialty services within the Department of General Internal Medicine at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. UToledo offers more than 13 medical fellowship programs.

The Hematology-Oncology training program at the University of Toledo accepted its first group of Fellows in 2009. At its inception it was an Oncology only ACGME approved program. After maintaining 100% ABIM Oncology Board pass rate for 10 years, the program transitioned into a 3 year ACGME approved dual certificatology-Oncology Fellowship in 2018. Currently the Division of Hematology & Oncology provides training to a total complement of 6 Fellows.
