Poster Instructions
PDF Submission
- PDF of your poster: must be submitted by Monday December 23, 2024 by 11:59pm, which
will allow entry into the poster contest and potential for eventual display on the
website
- PDF file size not to exceed 1800kb
- If using PowerPoint as a template, be sure to have the slide size match the eventual
posterboard (27” x 39”). Open PowerPoint, select the tab “Design,” select “Slide Size” and enter the Custom
size of Width 39 inches, and Height 27 inches in Landscape orientation. Once completed it will need converted to PDF format before upload
- Email completed PDF to: neurosciences@utoledo.edu
- Subject line of the email: “PDF submission – LAST NAME – TITLE”
Poster Printing
- Posterboard: For your reference, the printed posters will be placed on cardboard trifolds
that measure 27 x 39

- Printing Company: Posters can be printed with NewFax (at the cost of $24.00 per poster). The website is https://www.newfaxcorp.com and phone number is 419.241.5157.
- When you upload the PDF, please indicate in the Notes section which Department / PI
your poster will be linked with (e.g. Psychiatry, Neuroscience, or Bioinformatics). Up to 4 PDFs can be submitted at a time through their website.
- For those that do not have a PI with funds for posters, please contact neurosciences@utoledo.edu for coordination of financial assistance BEFORE uploading. For those individuals, NewFax will work with us and invoice the respective department
and those posters will be delivered to that department.
- Deadline: There is no specific deadline related to printing your poster, just be sure
that you provide sufficient turnaround time to the printing company
Day of Event
- Date: Thursday, February 6, 2025
- Location for Posters: Delta Hotels Toledo – Mahogany Ballroom
- Setup: 11:30am to 12:00pm for setup. Binder clips & 2-sided tape provided
- Poster session: 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Lunch is also provided during this time
- Winners announced towards the end of the symposium
- Event is completed at 4:30pm, collect posters at that time
- There may be additional instructions given as the event date draws near
