Fall Semester
The University Counseling Center is now accepting new client appointments, new appointment times are being added on the website daily. Fall semester schedules are updated and crisis support walk ins are now available Monday through Friday 10 am to 2 pm for fall semester. Additional crisis support and therapy options are being provided by our new partner Mantra Health. The Mantra platform provides free teletherapy options including nights and weekends. All crisis calls are directed to Mantra outside of the walk in times.
Care Where You Are
Welcome to the University Counseling Center, offering free and confidential services to currently enrolled students. This FY 25-26 we have launched new offerings to bring services to you. Download the new Mantra Health app to connect with self help tools, 24/7 phone support, and virtual support 12 pm- 12 am. Use your university student email to create a free account. If you are interested in therapy, there are some options available through that platform or through the Counseling Center. Care Where You Are includes the option to visit a relaxation station on campus or utilize the self-help tools to engage in positive self care. For crisis care know who to call and where to go- call or text 988, call 911, or utilize the new 24/7 line at 419-530-2273(CARE).
Community of Care
The Counseling Center is proud to share the work that was created with the support of the UToledo theatre department (Professor Matt Foss), past and current students and staff, and funders Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental health (OPCSMH) (2020-2022) andThe Ohio Wellness Campus Collaborative (2022) $35,000.
STAR was created in 2020 as a prevention and awareness program to support individuals at risk for suicide and mental health concerns. STAR addressed the role of the helper and helpee in navigating difficult conversations about mental health, specifically suicide. Over 400 campus members and partners received STAR training. Self-Help
Learn ways to help manage your mental well-being and connect with new resources. Try the massage chairs, learn about sleep hygiene, or use the self-guided toolkits to learn more about anxiety and depression. Practicing self-care and wellness strengthens your overall health. Learn more

Mental Health| Mantra Health
The Counseling Center is taking new clients at this time. To complete intake paperwork and schedule your fist appointment visit here. You may also utilize Mantra Health for 24/7 Connect Now support or to sign up for teletherapy. Mantra offers evening and weekend appointments for free. Create a log in with your university email on Mantra to get started.

Crisis Resources
Mantra Health is partnering with UToledo and now providing 24/7 phone support and 12 hour video care. Call 419-530-2273 (CARE) or download the Mantra app to get full access. Know where to go when you need help. The Counseling Center is providing walk in services Monday through Friday 10 am to 2 pm (only, first come first served).
