Resources For Helping a UT Student
Counseling Center staff will consult with faculty/staff regarding any concerns they have with University of Toledo students. Call the Counseling Center at (419) 530-2426 and ask to consult with a Counseling Center staff member. If it is an emergency situation, we advise you to contact University of Toledo Police at 911. Some of our typical consultations involve issues surrounding a student’s adjustment (social, psychological, academic) to the University; how to help a student with depression and/or anxiety; how to intervene with a student who is struggling with grief and loss issues, etc. If a Counseling Center staff member is not available for an immediate consultation, we will return your call on the same business day. For more information, education, and referrals check out Psychology Today.
