Life outside the Rec: I enjoy running with my dog in my free time! I also love watching sports with my friends and attending professional games.

Mission: Prevention is the best medicine. A healthy lifestyle is the best prevention.

Life outside the Rec: I enjoy spending time with outside with my family, friends, and animals. From camping to game nights, we spend quite a lot of time together. My other hobbies include gardening, cooking and baking, and traveling with my husband. If I could do anything, it would be to have my own homestead.

Mission: Life is an adventure that that takes place one small step at a time: be present in the moment and maintain balance to motivate movement towards your ideal integrated state of being.

Life outside the Gym: I enjoy staying active outside the gym too, some of my other hobbies include hiking, watersports, and snowsports. In my down time I love spending with my family, friends, and of course my dog! On the weekends you can find me making a home cooked meal or baking a carrot cake.

Life outside the Gym: I am a college student majoring in exercise science with hopes of becoming a physical therapist. I am a crossfit athlete so I spend most of my free time training.

Mission: Exercise is a lifestyle of motivation, strength, building community, and finding enjoyment in being active to achieve optimal overall health. My mission is to make fitness fun and challenging, and support and guide people to feel empowered to change their lives and continually strive to become their strongest, healthiest and happiest versions of themselves.

Life outside the Gym: I am an exercise science student and will be attending UT's DPT Program in May 2025. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, playing soccer, cooking, baking, crafting, serving at my church, and staying active outdoors by running, biking and hiking.

Mission: Your health journey begins with you. It’s your journey and it does not compare to anyone else’s. Embrace and believe in yourself so that you may create and maintain your own healthy life changes. Remember, everyone has or has had a day 1 so you’re never alone.

Life outside the Gym: I love dancing! I Line Dancing, Ballroom, Chicago Steppin, Latin Hustle, Bop and a little Salsa. I’m also a Line Dancing and Beginner Steppin Instructor. Also, I have my own personal classes for Line Dancing every Friday evening. I do privates, group lessons and events for fitness and dance for individuals, companies and organizations. I have 2 grandchildren that keep me happily busy as well.

Boot camp

Mission: Practicing prevention can often make intervention unnecessary. The hardest part of fitness is starting a workout or routine in the first place. Once you begin, allow the energy you feel each time you complete a workout, to be the motivation to push you to continue.

Life outside the Gym: I am a full-time working mom of two beautiful children; a 2 year old and 6 year old. As soon as I get home from work, I start my most rewarding job which is being a parent. Exercise gives me the energy and motivation I need to keep up with them. I often include them in my workouts as well:) In addition to being a mother, I enjoy spending time camping and being outdoors with my husband and children!

Turn Up Dance Fitness

Mission: Self care and self love is so important. Exercise can help not just your physical fitness, but also your overall mental and emotional well being. The hardest part is deciding to do it and to take this time for yourself. I encourage everyone to choose to show up for yourself.

Life outside the Gym: Fitness is an important part of my life both inside and outside of the gym. When I am not working out, I enjoy spending time with my family and my friends. I work in healthcare so taking care of others is an important part of who I am and what I do. Also, music has always been an important component of my life. I listen to all types of music. I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, and I welcome new adventures!

Life outside the Gym: Outside of the gym I enjoy playing soccer, spending time outside and being around animals.

Renee Schroeder - Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor (MX4)

Mission: I enjoy helping people achieve fitness goals and help them do activities or movements they thought they couldn't do. I love to help give people confidence and knowledge in the gym. Fitness means I am able to move my body in a way that helps promote cardiovascular health and strength for an improvement in overall physical fitness.

Life outside the gym: Outside of working in the gym I spend most of my time in the gym working out as well. I enjoy doing CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. Other than that I enjoy spending time with my friends and watching good TV shows or movies.
