Frequently Asked Questions



 

Office

    • Can I come into the office?

Yes, we are allowing 1 person in the office at a time.

If you do not feel comfortable coming in the office with other members, please schedule an appointment.

    • Do I need to wear a face covering while in the facility?

Yes. Face coverings are required in all areas of the facility at all times, including workout areas, social distancing must be maintained while working out. The face covering requirement also includes non-workout areas such as meeting rooms, lobby areas, pool observation deck, and elevator.  Face covering NOT required while in pool. 

Parking

    • Are we receiving a refund on our spring parking pass?

Per the direction of parking services, they are not issuing a refund for parking. If you have any additional questions you can contact Parking Services at 419.530.4100.

    • Can we receive a credit toward our new parking pass?

Parking credits are not being issued due to COVID-19.

Membership

    • Am I going to receive a membership refund or credit from my semester or annual pass?

Based on the type of membership that you purchased we are offering two options:

OPTION 1 — Unlimited swipes for a length of time based on membership type.
OPTION 2 — A credit toward the purchase of a new membership based on prior membership purchased. We are now offering a monthly membership.
    • Can I still purchase a Guest Pass?

Our facility is a member facility and you need to purchase a membership. We offer monthly, semester and annual packages.

Programming

    • Will Group Fitness Classes be offered?

Yes, classes will be offered at reduced capacities, with social distancing measures in place. All class offerings will be available on our website, FusionGo app and the member portal.

    • Is Personal Training still available?

Yes, personal training is still available. Personal trainers will wear masks and follow social distancing requirements when working with clients.

Lap Lane

    • Will lap swim be available?

Not when we first open. We will continue to update our processes and procedure with state and local guidelines.

Swim Lessons

    • Will swim lessons be offered?

Yes, we will have two options for swimming lessons. Levels three and below one parent or guardian is required to be in the water with their child.

OPTION 1 — Group lessons, group lessons will be limited to 3 people for social distancing.
OPTION 2 — Private lessons, there will be specific times that private lessons will be held.

American Red Cross Classes

    • Will there be American Red Cross Classes offered?

As of now there will be American Red Cross classes if the American Red Cross allows. There will be classes offered in the Fall. They will be blended learning courses (online and in class). Participants must wear face coverings while in classroom.

Intramural Sports

    • Will Intramural Sports be offered?

Yes, we will offer Intramural Sports during the Fall Semester. We will have some in person sports and also some virtual options. For more information please visit IMLeagues.

Facility

    • Is the facility going to be taking additional cleaning precautions?

Yes, additional precautions applied through different applications will be happening daily. Hand sanitizing and cleaning stations throughout the Rec Center that provide disinfecting products for members to apply before and after using equipment.

    • Are all areas of the facility open?

Currently we have areas that are not opened and are currently closed; service center, aquatics area and all courts.

Social Distancing

    • What is the facility doing to adhere to social distancing?

Signage facilitating increased spacing between fitness floor equipment, in locker rooms, and throughout various areas of the recreation center. We are requiring face coverings in all areas. Do not come to recreational facilities if you have COVID-19 symptoms (see the Rocket Restart page). We strongly recommend washing hands regularly, wiping equipment before and after each use, practicing social distancing while using the facility, paying attention to UToledo Recreational Services website, emails and social media as changes may take place due to COVID-19 spread.
