3D Models & Animation

Learners often find it difficult to visualize two-dimensional images and processes in three dimensions.   Computer generated 3D models and environments are an effective and informative way to present important spatial content visualization and relationships.  They can effectively communicate through interactive manipulation, simulation or instructional motion animation and have a powerful impact on comprehension and test scores.  The flexibility of content modifications also offers many possibilities and avenues for instruction and exploration.

IISC also has the ability to take certain types radiological images and structures of importance.  The resulting 3D models can be and used in academics, research or clinical applications as digital models or be created as a physical model by a 3D printer.
