About International Student Welcome Week
International Student Welcome Week is a one-week program that aims to provide new international students an opportunity to get familiar with the UToledo campus and university resources. The programs combines helpful workshops, presentations and activities on academic support, housing, residence life, campus jobs, campus tour, insurance and classroom expectations for international students. Students will have a chance to meet with university faculty and staff, connect with U.S. students, make lots of new friends and be prepared for the orientation!

2024 SPRING International Welcome Week Schedule
(All dates and times are U.S. Eastern Time)
WEDNEsday, january 10
- CISP International Resource Fair (MANDATORY for all international students) - 11:00am to 12:30pm in the Student Union
Auditorium
Come and join us for the CISP International Resource Fair. Over 30 offices on campus will be at the fair to promote their services and programs. The university mascot will be there to take photos! Free food, drinks and giveaways for all who attend! - Lunch and Meet & Greet, with CISP and International Admissions - 12:30pm to 2:00pm in the Student Union Auditorium
Meet the CISP team and the International Admissions team, as well as the International Student Association (ISA). You will be able to learn about the CISP resources that will be very beneficial for you during your academic years, and the best part is that we will provide FREE lunch to all our new international students during the Meet & Greet! - Savage Arena Tour - 2:15pm to 3:00pm
Tour the Savage Arena and see where our Rockets compete against rival universities. This tour will include a backstage walkthrough. - REC Center Tour - 3:15pm to 4:00pm
Tour the REC Center and see all the structure that UToledo offers for the students: indoor tennis courts, badminton, basketball, a complete modern fitness gym, an indoor track field, pools, rock climbing wall, among other cool stuff!
THURSDAY, january 11
- Walmart Trip - 10:00am & 10:30am (only for students who signed-up during the CISP
Resource Fair)
This is an opportunity for students to go purchase household items, utensils, food, etc. This is a FREE ride to Walmart, exclusive for the students who signed up in person during the Resource Fair, on Wednesday. Seats are limited! - ISA Freshens Welcome Party – 2:30pm to 4:30pm in front of CISP (Snyder Memorial, room 1000)
Join ISA for FREE games and snacks. Students will be able to play games, win prizes, and enjoy snacks while meeting other students and making new friends from around the world.
FriDAY, january 12
- Toledo Museum of Art Tour - 11:00am & 11:30am (only for students who signed-up during
the CISP Resource Fair)
Come and join us for a tour of the Toledo Museum of Art. One of the top 10 art museums in U.S. (lunch is on your own, there is a restaurant at the museum). This is a FREE ride to the museum, exclusive for the students who signed up in person during the Resource Fair, on Wednesday. Seats are limited!
saturday, january 13
- Exploring Fun Toledo: Laser Tag, Escape Rooms, Skating Arena, Bowling - ALL DAY (11:00am
to 7:00pm)
Let the fun begin! We will spend the day playing games and having fun around Toledo. Tickets for this event will be available during the Resource Fair, on Wednesday. Seats are limited.

This tour includes: Center for International Studies and Programs, Library, Writing Center, Tutoring Center, Food Court, Career Services, Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, Food Pantry and the International Student Association Office!
