About
3D PRINT LAB
UT's 3D Print Lab consists of several 3D printers with a variety of printing capabilities
ranging from small mechanical parts and devices to high fidelity anatomical and pathological
models. Some devices are printed from existing designs or pieces to make multiple
identical copies or replacements of the same device. Medical models can be created
from a patient’s imaging data set to provide a true and accurate representation of
specific anatomy to aid in the understanding of complexity and provide additional
options for surgical intervention.
