Frequently Asked Questions
Are Format Reviews Required?
No, but they are strongly encouraged. Format reviews save you time as you make edits to upload to OhioLINK.
What happens During a Format Review?
During a format review, we evaluate your thesis or dissertation according to our formatting checklist. We check for pagination, margins, required sections, and more—however, we don't check content. Then, we send you the results of our evaluation!
Why are Format Reviews so Important?
Submitting your thesis or dissertation for a format review is a great way to cut down time on determining where you'll need to make edits!
Does my Thesis or Dissertation need to be complete before Submitting for a Format Review?
Nope! Simply make sure all required sections are included (even if they're empty) and that will work for us.
