National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA)

Thank you for your interest in NSSLHA, the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. NSSLHA refers to both the national organization (www.nsslha.org) as well as the local UT chapter of the national organization. UT students may join at both levels. National membership is $60 and offers access to professional journals in addition to numerous other benefits.

To join the local UT chapter of NSSLHA, dues are $10 a semester or $15 for the academic year. Any person who is in the speech pathology major is eligible to join.  Meetings are typically the first Friday of the month. Check out our Facebook page for additional information and upcoming events!

NSSLHA members participate in fundraising for various charities around the Toledo area as well as organizations through the national chapter of NSSLHA. NSSLHA provides opportunities for service work with adults and children as well as a support structure for those students majoring in speech-language pathology. The NSSLHA Constitution can be found here.
