Research interests: Dr. Matsushima is studying molecular mechanisms regulating the function of dendritic
cells, which play crucial
roles in the induction of both innate and adaptive immunity.
Education: Dr. Matsushima earned his Ph.D. in Medical Science in the Division of Human Ecology
of Yamanashi Medical
University, Yamanashi, Japan.
