Meet Molly Mouch

'24, Bachelor of Science in Nursing

"Being a part of so much in the College of Nursing has allowed me to see how many different ways I can give back as a nurse. I am so grateful to have been an Ambassador for the College of Nursing as I have been able to be someone to look up to just as I had with those students ahead of me."

Meet Rokya Miller

'20, RN to B.S.N.

An RN/BSN degree at The University of Toledo gave me the opportunity to be a clinical instructor for other BSN students and the knowledge and willingness to further my education to become a Nurse Practitioner.   One of the things that I liked about UToledo College of Nursing is that the classes were all self-paced. In the beginning of the semester all of the coursework is given out and it can be completed on our own time. This helps with the balance of work, home life, and school.”

Meet Cindy Pu

'20, Clinical Nurse Leader Master's

“During my time at UToledo, I have not only learned in the classroom setting but also in the hospital and work setting that has transformed my education and learning objectives.”

Building community

Give back

Part of UToledo’s mission is to improve the human condition. We know you want to make a difference, too. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to make an impact.

For example, our students:

  • Give flu shots to the community
  • Serve the underserved and homeless in Community Care Clinics
  • Care for migrant workers in summer clinics
  • Travel on a medical mission trip to another country

Real-World Learning Environment

The nationally ranked College of Nursing occupies a state-of-the-art campus with the latest instructional nursing laboratories and classrooms.

Our Health Science Campus, where students can learn and practice in real-world healthcare environments, makes us unique among other nursing colleges in the region. The UToledo Medical Center hospitals, clinics, and renowned Simulation Center are literally next door to the nursing building. At the simulation center, students from all the healthcare professions study and practice together

The University of Toledo is located in Toledo, Ohio, on the western shore of Lake Erie. Nicknamed The Glass City, Toledo has the cultural amenities of a big city and the close-knit feel of a small town. We are within hours of most major Midwestern cities.
