College2Careers

Ohio College2Careers, a partnership between Ohio’s state college and university system, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, Ohio businesses, and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), offers support for students with disabilities while in college and as they prepare for their careers.

There are a variety of services offered depending on disability-related need and vocational goal of the individual but may include advocacy and support, career exploration & counseling, resume and cover letter review, interview preparation, assistive technology, and assistance finding internships and permanent employment.

The University of Toledo The Office Of Accessibility and Disability Resources office is proud to partner with OOD to provide this program for our students. We look forward to continuing to support and empower students through our collaboration. More information about College2Careers and OOD is featured in a recent University of Toledo News article.

If you are interested in discussing this opportunity or participation in College2Careers, please reach out to our UToledo campus partner, Tinola Mayfield-Guerrero, tinola.mayfield@utoledo.edu to set up an appointment. Check out this wonderful video introduction to C2C at UToledo and Tinola.
