The University of Toledo Admission

College Credit Plus Pathways

What are College credit plus pathways?

Pathways are a collection of recommended classes to introduce you to a specific career field. UToledo offers 15- or 30-hour pathways in such areas as business, engineering, health and more.

Our partner schools and districts may choose to offer certain pathways to their CCP students. Not all schools offer all UToledo pathways.

Why should I enroll in a pathway?

  • Some pathway courses are considered Level One courses, which are guaranteed to be transferable to another Ohio university or college. They fulfill the general elective or specific major requirements at any Ohio public college or university. Not all pathway courses are Level One. Non-Level One courses are not guaranteed to transfer, although they may.
  • You have more course options. Some classes are offered only through a pathway.
  • If you have an idea of what you’d like to major in when you get to college, a pathway could help you decide if it’s the right program for you.
