Students

The Department has approximately 25 B.A. students, 15 M.A. students and 15 spatially integrated social science (SISS) Ph.D. students. The primary student organization is the Geography and Planning Club and the Gamma Theta Upsilon honor society

Events

The Department of Geography & Planning Hosts a Bi-Weekly Colloquium Series. The series features presentations by geography professionals on their research. Colloquium topics include environmental, transportation, cultural, and economic geography.
