SCHEDULE OVERVIEW

Students are required to attend the DiscoverEDU: Teacher Job Fair, which will count as one of your teaching days. There will be a total of 8 interview timeslots, and you are expected to fill all timeslots on your schedule with interviews.

How to Prepare For the Job Fair

Create or update your resume and submit it for review to the dropbox for the Resume Book for employers.
Review participating schools and districts and determine which schools you would like to interview with.
Research prospective schools so that you are well informed about the school and district.
Practice Sample Interview Questions to feel prepared and confident before the fair.
Prepare your interview attire. If needed, schedule an appointment with the Rocket Style Career Closet or attend the JCPenney Rocket Suit Up event.

Polish your resume by following the education resume sample and rubric below.
Upload your resume (Word document only) to the 2026 Resume Book Submission Form for feedback.
- You will be contacted with feedback and any suggested revisions.
Once revisions are complete, upload your final resume to the 2026 Resume Book Submission Form.
