About Commuter Student Services
Commuter Students are individuals attending college while living off-campus. Living off-campus is a unique lifestyle that can often times feel different from on-campus student life.
Commuter Student Services and the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards are here to help commuter students form a community, get involved, and be a comfortable place to work or rest while on-campus. Consider us your home away from home!
As a commuter student, it will be important for you to become connected to the University outside the classroom in order to improve your college experience. Otherwise, you may find yourself simply coming to campus, going to your classes and then heading directly home or perhaps to a part-time, off-campus job.
We offer commuter students a link to the UT Community through programming, advocating, and providing a welcoming environment. We also want to educate commuter students about safe student housing.
Commuter Student Services will also help you find out about services and programs designed especially for you as a commuter. Services include access to the Commuter Lounge, off campus living information, and more.
