Labor Relations

Labor relations staff collaborate with human resource professionals and leaders to administer and interpret various collective bargaining agreements, to mitigate risk, and to enhance labor and management relationships.

Specific services include:

  • Providing strategic direction on labor relations matters to ensure alignment with UToledo’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborating with union leaders to resolve concerns.
  • Negotiating, administering and interpreting faculty and staff collective bargaining agreements.
  • Advising regarding union contracts and university policies.
